Gene Hart shares his lecture on Sexual Alchemy. This talk focuses on love (and sex without orgasm) as a transformative force.

Among other things, he discusses the need to use increased sexual energy for lofty ends, lest it simply inflate your ego and drive you toward the usual mammalian goals: greed, promiscuity, power, and so on. Selfish ends can rebound in painful ways. For this reason this knowledge was not typically shared openly in the past.

Hart has a gentle teaching style. For example, he assures those who would master “white tantra” (non-orgasmic sex) that intention is more important than perfection while one is learning. Yet he also explains that the intention to mix orgasmic and non-orgasmic sex is in fact a step backward, not forward. Most of the last half hour of this video is a guided meditation.

Hart is aligned with Samael Aun Weor’s Gnostic tradition, which may or may not be a bit off-putting. It is somewhat rigid and has a tinge of guru-ism. But it is a popular non-orgasmic tradition.
